The style is very crisp, lip smacking if you and very food friendly. Shaw and Smith are closing in on 20 vintages and you can sense the maturity and confidence in this wine with its lean entry and intense un-oaked flavours of gooseberry, citrus rind and grassy chalky undercurrents.
