Mitolo Reiver Shiraz 2006

Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaThe name 'Reiver' is taken from the border raiders of the Anglo-Scot borders, the site is a single vineyard (60 year old vines) in the Northern Barossa Valley. The 06 crop was small and intense with Reiver cropping under 25 hl/ha. Look for a rich nose of dark plums and liquorice mixed with smoky oak, mushroom and leather. The mid palate is soft and rich with spicy, blueberry, plums, pepper and licorice flavours. Fine intensity in the dry earthy finish.Tasted: 25 October 2008Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
