Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAfter some wavering in the last vintage the '06 Phantom Creek Syrah is back on track with its rich savoury, roasted pepper, black cherry nose flecked with vanilla, tobacco and sage aromas. It has a ripe, round, supple, forward style with cool black cherry, tobacco, savoury flavours with bits of vanilla, liquorice and sausage meat.
