Piedmont, ItalyLots of cigar, cedar, cherry jam, prune, resin, coffee, floral, gamey, sweaty saddle leather aromas. Dry, full, elegant style but very structured and tannic. Oxo cube, rooty, tarry, licorice, black cherry flavours with tobacco, leather, cooked carrot, vanilla and coffee finish. Very tight, warm, tannic finish needs 5-7 years to soften.
