Ricossa Barbaresco 2003

Piedmont, ItalySpicy, black cherry, tobacco, roasted mushroom, earthy, coffee aromas. Ripe, round, rich, smoothly tannic entry. Tobacco, peppery, resin, coffee, vanilla, black cherry, smoky flavours with some tannin on the finish. A bit rustic and hot but incredibly cheap for Barbaresco. Needs medium rare beef or a few more years in bottle.Tasted: 30 June 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
