De Martino Las Cruces Old Bush Vines 2006
Valle del Maipo, Region del Valle Central, ChileThe Old Bush Vines, "Las Cruces," is a first for De Martino in the Cachapoal Valley. The vineyards is 60 plus years old and while it is principally covered with malbec and carmenère there are other vines in the vineyard that have yet o be identified. It's dry farmed and the colour is deep. The nose is a mix of floral mineral notes along with black fruits and cocoa.
