Rioja, SpainImpressive smoky, coffee, licorice, floral, saddle leather nose with flecks of black cherry jam. Warm, dry, tight palate with grainy tannins and good acidity but youthful. Coffee, vanilla, peppery, mineral, saddle leather, tobacco, black olive, cherry and resin flavours. A bit oaky now but with good concentration and length, needs 1-3 years to smooth out.
