Juan Gil Monastrell 2004
Jumilla, Valencia and Murcia, SpainLovely open mocha chocolate with black cherry and liquorice root. The entry is round and ripe, that tannins chalky and easy to assimilate. The fruit is clean and intense under the peppery, cherry jam, coffee, liquorice spicy, floral, meaty flavours. Warm well-balanced red that should be perfect with grilled meats.Tasted: 18 March 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $25.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
