Township 7 Merlot 2004
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSmoky spicy sagebrush notes with bits of leafy black cherry tobacco notes and a touch of compost. Fairly supple on entry and round with a resiny coffee, smoky mocha cedar flavours and plenty of alcohol showing up on the mid-palate and finish. Standoffish for the moment and dry calling for roasted meats to best tame its youthful edges.Tasted: 18 January 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $25.00 | 750ml | winery direct, VQA and private wine shops |
