Canonbah Bridge Drought Reserve Shiraz 2003
New South Wales, AustraliaBig huge pruny, cooked black berry, volatile, sweet vanilla, coffee, mocha, leather, black tea and pepper nose with some gamey animal notes. Dry, rich, round, full-bodied style with some elegance despite some youthful dry tannin. Massive sweet oak vanilla, espresso, black cherry kirsch, meaty, smoky, resin, licorice and tea flavours. Very alcoholic and somewhat baked, raisin-y finish. Not for the fainthearted.Tasted: 09 January 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $47.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
