Bolgheri, Tuscany, ItalyThis is all Bolgheri with its floral, spicy smoky chocolate notes on the nose. The styling is elegant with a wonderful balance of fruit and tannins. The palate is a fresh mix of cherry and minerals with savoury gamey, smoky notes and bits of black olive in the finish. Very easy sipping red you can drink now or hold three to five years. The blend is mostly equal parts of merlot/cabernet franc/sangiovese with a dash of syrah.
