Peter Lehmann Mentor 2002
Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaBlack olive, resin, menthol, green bean, cassis, coffee, tobacco leaf (very cabernet) aromas. On entry it is dry and somewhat tannic with a lean, slightly acidic edge. The mid-palate is full bodied with peppery, resin, earthy, coffee, vanilla, cassis, tobacco flavours. The finish is warm, with some elevated acidity and edgy tannins. Definitely needs another two to three years to fully integrate. The blend is 69/13/10/8, cabernet sauvignon/merlot/shiraz/malbec.Tasted: 03 November 2007Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $44.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
