Beringer Chardonnay 2005
Napa Valley, California, United StatesIn homage to the fine work and style transformation going on at Beringer under winemaker Laurie Hook's watch, and her mentor Ed Sbragia, it might be appropriate to call this '05 Napa chardonnay "Ed Lite." Certainly it hits all the right notes from its leesy, nutty, honey peach aromas, to its creamy, spicy textures. On the palate it's fresh with spicy, nutty, baked apple notes and a creamy lees finish.
