Santa Rita Floresta Apalta Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
Apalta Valley, Santa Cruz, Valle del Colchagua, Valle del Rapel, Region del Valle Central, ChileBig black cherry, blackberry, cigar, chocolate, vanilla, leather, black pepper aromas mixed with mint, licorice, smoke and resin. Rich, ripe, round and very supple with smooth grained tannins. Very warm with good acidity. Spicy, peppery, blackberry jam, vanilla, mint and cassis jam with a touch of orange, tobacco and chocolate on the finish. Very good finesse and intensity but finish is a bit too hot and hard.
