Santa Rita Cabernet Sauvignon Casa Real 2003
Valle del Maipo, Region del Valle Central, ChileCoffee, minty, cassis jam, peppery, spicy, tobacco, licorice, plum aromas with a streak of cedar, iodine and saddle leather. Dry, round, elegant, slightly tannic palate with good grip and finesse. Lots of cassis, chocolate, peppery, black olive, saddle leather, tobacco, plum and vanilla flavours with a touch of cedar. Fine balance and finesse, very drinkable now but needs 2-4 years. Despite being a lighter vintage, this is showing well in a more Bordelais style.Tasted: 22 September 2007Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $89.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
