Santa Rita Cabernet Sauvignon Casa Real 2002
Valle del Maipo, Region del Valle Central, ChileBig spicy, peppery, vanilla, floral, black berry, black olive nose with spikes of cigar, chocolate and eucalyptus. Warm rich entry with mostly round, dry tannins. Intense flavours of black pepper, black olive, eucalyptus and licorice root mixed with black berry, tobacco and chocolate flavours. Long and full, the '02 Casa Real will need 3-5 years at least. Not as elegant (at this point) as the 2001 but still fine indeed. Only 2500 cases made this year.Tasted: 19 March 2006Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $75.99 | 750ml | specialty listing |
