Santa Cruz Mountains, San Francisco Bay, California, United StatesAlmost 100% American oak barrel fermentation with no acidification, using only natural yeast and it goes through full malolactic. After all that this wine has incredibly good acidity balance. We love the pear, spicy, clove nose with streaks of butter, floral and peach skin aromas. The entry is ripe, round and slightly oily with good richness and a touch of warmth. Spicy vanilla, butter, baked pear, citrus, chalky, sappy flavours. Good overall balance if a touch warm.
