Apalta Valley, Santa Cruz, Valle del Colchagua, Valle del Rapel, Region del Valle Central, ChileImpressive cassis, minty, plum, tobacco, olive, cardamom, coffee, leather aromas with a hint of licorice and cedar. Rich, round, supple palate but plenty of smooth tannins. Huge minty, sappy cassis, plum, coffee, peppery, vanilla, chocolate, cedar and black olive flavours. Very ripe Bordeaux-style, well structured, a bit warm but excellent concentration and intensity. Needs 3-5 years, but already suave in the mouth.
