Quinta do Crasto Douro Vinho Tinto 2005

Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalAttractive floral black plum fruit nose with earthy tea and licorice aromas. Youthful entry with some chunky tannins and that firm peppery, licorice, earthy, black plum Douro fruit that finishes with a chocolate pudding note. Still rambunctious and youthful but we know this will settle down for the long haul. Cellar for two to three years for best results or serve now with a rib-eye steak.Tasted: 12 May 2007Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
