Quails' Gate Gewürztraminer 2006

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe former "Limited Release" label has new look and a crowd pleasing 10 grams per litre of residual sugar. It's fermented cold, in stainless steel, using north and central Okanagan fruit and the result is a terrific little gewürztraminer. It has a fresh, lively, pear and litchi nut fruit flavour flecked with spicy, floral, mineral bits. Thai, Indian, Chinese take your pick or put some away for that Thanksgiving turkey.Tasted: 09 May 2007Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices: BC 16.99 winery direct, vqa wine stores Producer: Quails' Gate Vineyards Estate WineryDistributors: Appellation Wine Marketing
