Chateau Peychaud 2004
Cotes de Bourg, Cotes de Bordeaux, Bordeaux, FranceSurprisingly rich and open on the nose with a fairly fat demeanour. The nose mixes coffee and leather with bits of cedar and cassis. On the palate you get more blackberry jam and cedar tobacco and leather. It packs a fair amount of punch for unclassified Bordeaux and while the fruit component is almost non-existent (read dry), it should be fine with lamb or beef or strong cheeses.Tasted: 21 May 2007Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $17.99 | 750ml | specialty listing |
