Sauvignon Republic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2006

Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandIntense canned asparagus with smoky, mineral, minty notes. On the palate the wine is dry and fresh with a bit of the old-style canned jalapeno, asparagus flavours mixed with lemon-lime and grapefruit. Intense full-blown, peppery sauvignon with a touch of sweet and sour juicy lime rind. Green lipped mussels anyone.Tasted: 18 April 2007Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
