Carmen Sauvignon Blanc 2006
Valle del Curicó, Region del Valle Central, ChileCarmen winemaker María del Pilar González is doing an excellent job of fine tuning the Carmen varietal range. Sauvignon blanc is the varietal Carmen built a huge following with and after some recent so-so efforts the 2006 is all over the mark. Fresh, clean mineral nose with citrus and melon fruit and now finally closed with a screwcap. It simply doesn't get any better for the money. Ridiculous value here. Drink all spring and summer.Tasted: 03 April 2007Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $13.95 | 750ml | specialty listing |
