Michele Chiarlo Barolo Tortoniano 2000

Piedmont, ItalyMade with contract grapes: from 50% Cerequio and 50% La Morra villages contract. A more approachable style, done in stainless steel. Smoky, peppery, black cherry, strawberry, tobacco, barnyard, tar aromas with a touch of truffle. Dry, round, supple and warm with some tannins showing. Very peppery, smoky, tobacco, olive, strawberry flavours with some orange, rootsy, tar flavours at the end.
