Luigi Einaudi Barolo Costa Grimaldi 2003
Dogliani, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalySpicy, vanilla, black cherry, plum, floral, black oilve, peppery, jammy nose. Dry, tannic and rich but ripe with very good acidity but tight. Lots of cherry, coffee, pepper, tar, spicy, floral, licorice and mineral flavours. Lots of concentration here but a touch acidic on the finish. Needs 5-8 years to come around.
