Montforte d'Alba, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalyRecieves less oak than Vinga del Gris. Coffee, vanilla, cherry kirsch, balsamic, floral, licorice, tar nose. Ripe, rich, full and concentrated with ripe tannins but a bit warm. Cherry, strawberry, licorice, resin, vanilla, coffee, tar flavours. Long fruit finish with good structure and finesse but a bit hot. Has better balance and intensity than Gris with more future. Will be best in 5-8 years.
