Reininger Merlot 2002
Walla Walla Valley, Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesBig saddle leather, mocha, peppery, spicy, minty nose with some chocolate and black cherry. On the palate it's dry and warm with some grip-y, grainy tannins. Pepper, tobacco leaf, orange, olive, cherry and coffee flavours throughout. A bit chunky and warm and like previous editions needs time to dissipate its youthful tannins.Tasted: 01 September 2006Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $31.95 | 750ml | speculative listing - New World Wines |
