Verona, Veneto, ItalyThe Masianco blend is 75/25 pinot grigio/verduzzo where the verduzzo is late picked and dried on racks (appassimento) for about three weeks. To increase its intensity and fill out the grigio. Lovely floral, mineral buttery nose with an undercurrent of citrus oil. Both soft and round it easily slides down the palate offering a ripe mix of butter, honey, mineral and warm lemon oil. Fine intensity and length.
