Cape Jaffa Shiraz 2002
Mount Benson, Limestone Coast, South Australia, AustraliaSmoky, peppery, sausage, tobacco, licorice root, vanilla aromas with a touch of black berry and compost. Ripe, round, dry, slightly tannic palate with licorice, floral, spicy, peppery, minty, black cherry, smoky flavours. Finish is a bit tart with some cedar and chocolate but this will improve over tome in the bottle. Currently just give a little extra air-time before serving.Tasted: 17 August 2006Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $25.99 | 750ml | speculative listing - Waldorf Wine Group |
