Sonoma County, California, United StatesRodney Strong has about 15 acres of old, gnarled zinfandel vines that were planted in 1904 and they go into the blend of fruit in this bottle that mixes the appellations of Dry Creek, Russian River and Alexander Valleys. Look for an attractive lush vanilla American oak nose with black cherries and briary licorice tomes. Similar flavours with a warm spicy black fruit finish.
