Sonoma County, California, United StatesGallo Family Winery is the latest moniker in use on the California wine giant's label. I've lost track of all the name changes both internationally and domestic let's hope this one sticks for a bit. This is excellent Sonoma zin, offering darker fruit flavours less sweet fruit and more concentration and weight. Look for plenty of jammy, black cherry and red plum fruit mixed with a dash of mid-palate toasted oak and spice before finishing long and smooth.
