Alsace, FranceAnother solid edition from the House of Trimbach established in 1626 and currently under the direction of the 12th generation headed up by Pierre and Jean. Perfumed, mineral, citrus, honey nose with bits of guava and petrol. Dry, round and elegant on the palate with crisp mineral, waxy, honey, apple skin and floral flavours. Full flavoured, crisp and warm yet balanced. Very good intensity if dry.
