Doña Paula Malbec Selección de Bodega 2002
Ugarteche District, Luján de Cuyo, Northern Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaSweet vanilla, smoky, peppery, cardamom, dried herb, chocolate, tobacco leaf, anise and roasted mushroom aromas, good complexity. Rich, ripe, round and supple with smooth tannins. Big savoury, meaty, black cherry jam, vanilla, smoky, licorice flavours with a menthol, orange peel finish. Fine elegance and concentration with ripe tannins. Young but balanced, should improve over the next 2-4 years. Love the finesse here.Tasted: 07 March 2006Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:AB | $32.00 | 750ml | fine wine boutiques |
