Carmen Wine Maker's Reserve 2000
Valle del Maipo, Region del Valle Central, ChileThere was no Gold Reserve made in 2000 so the best grapes went into Wine Maker's. Look for smoky, cassis, black berry, pepper, barnyard, saddle leather aromas with cigar, black olive and resiny, vanilla notes. Rich, hot, round, dry and chunky with moderate tannins. Big black cherry, black berry, iodine, licorice, smoky, peppery, tobacco, cedar and vanilla flavours. Warm, dry finish with some acidity.
