Montes Limited Selection Sauvignon Blanc Leyda 2005

Valle de Leyda, Valle de San Antonio, Region de Aconcagua, ChileLeyda is an emerging cool-climate sub-district of San Antonio located near the Chilean coast just south of Casablanca and it's where the fruit comes from for this impressive new sauvignon blanc. The '05 Limited Selection Leyda sauvignon continues its style - smells a bit like New Zealand and tastes a bit like Sancerre. This is super fresh, very hip sauvignon. There is no oak and the crisp fruit sports flecks of dill, gooseberry and chalky mineral, stony flavours. Bottled under screwcap to protect its fresh characters for years to come.Tasted: 16 February 2006Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
