Blasted Church Pinot Gris 2004

Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAvoiding the bouts of botrytis was the key to surviving the '04 harvest in B.C. and fortunately at Blasted Church the pinot gris came through unscathed. Only 10 per cent of the wine sees wood (yeah) as evidenced by its earthy mineral nose and flavours. Not overly intense but there is enough peachy nectarine fruit and citrus to carry the finish. Solid but not cheap.Tasted: 28 April 2005Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
