Piedmont, ItalyNice spicy, tarry, cedar, tobacco, coffee and strawberry jam aromas with some licorice and green bean notes, quite aromatic. Rich, ripe, round and somewhat tannic but balanced. Cherry, tarry, smoky, cedar, tobacco, peppery licorice flavours fill out the palate. Elegant but dry and classic. Will improve over the next 3-8 years.
