Tuscany, ItalyHarvested before the rains, a real achievement. Big black raspberry jam, plum, cherry fruit nose mixed with spicy, tobacco, vanilla, waxy, smoky pain grille aromas. Rich, ripe, concentrated and fat but quite supple. Very ripe black raspberry jam, spicy vanilla, black cherry kirsch, mocha, pudding flavours with some peppery, clove, candied orange rind flavours on the finish. Long, warm finish with grainy tannins.
