Montalcino, Siena, Tuscany, ItalyLicorice root, smoky, Christmas pudding, black berry jam, pepper, orange peel aromas with gamey, vanilla, plum notes - very aromatic. Rich, ripe, round and quite elegant with fine, smooth tannins - a true '97. Big smoky, licorice, black berry, peppery, plum pudding, gamey, leather flavours with a vanilla, coffee, dried orange peel and cherry finish. Young but has fine structure.
