Sandhill Merlot Burrowing Owl Vineyard 2002
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBig smoky, black olive, meaty, garrigue and somewhat resiny aromas. Dry, fairly smooth palate with light tannins. Smoky vanilla, peppery, warm black olive, gamey tomato leaf flavours. A bit stewed and alcoholic on the finish, it was a warm year, but this is solid cool climate merlot that will need a few years to round out.Tasted: 09 July 2004Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $17.49 | 750ml | Specialty |
