Palandri Shiraz 2002
Margaret River, Western Australia, AustraliaBig crushed black pepper nose tinged with barnyard, licorice root, clove and black berry fruit. Soft, round and smooth on entry with a hint of sweetness. Ripe black berry jam, peppery, spicy, coffee flavours and a slightly warm, acidic finish but it remains fresh and well balanced. There are still some light tannins to shed but should be fine with duck breast.Tasted: 08 June 2004Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:California | $15.99 | 750ml | Suggested Retail |
