Palandri Shiraz 2001

Margaret River, Western Australia, AustraliaThe fruit comes off three Margaret River vineyards, fermented separately and aged in new and used American oak for a year before the final blend is assembled and aged another three months. Look for an inviting, spicy, peppery meaty nose. On the palate it has a sweet blackberry jam flavour mixed with vanilla and coffee. Fine balance, good fruit and plenty of dark plum berry fruit flavours. Well made. Tasted: 07 June 2003Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
