Conterno Fantino Barbera d'Alba Vignota 2002

Castiglione Falletto, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalyThe Fantino Barbera d'Alba is all grown at 280 meters at a density of 1,500 vines per acre. It has an inviting black raspberry, black pepper, spicy, tar nose. The entry is round, soft, rich and fresh with black cherry, coffee, pepper and spicy flavours. The finish is smooth and elegant with good acidity. A delicious if pricey barbera.Tasted: 16 June 2004Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
