Conterno Fantino Barbera d'Alba Vignota 2005
Castiglione Falletto, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalySpicy, peppery, floral, black cherry, tar aromas. Ripe, rich, round with good concentration and balance but showing some tannins. Spicy, peppery, earthy, olive, cherry, mineral flavours. A bit acidic on the finish but good intensity and designed for food. Needs a year or so to settle down.
