J. Bookwalter Merlot 2002
Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesThink 2001 but bigger warmer, richer and sweeter. The colour is opaque the style is take no prisoners. Look for a ripe sweet vanilla/chocolate aromas streaked with plum jam. Almost identical on the palate with the now consistent streak of exotic orange rind. At 15 per cent alcohol it's not for lightweights but this is the full meal deal. Very fine New World merlot.Tasted: 17 March 2004Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $46.95 | 750ml | Specialty |
