Gaja Sito Moresco 2000
Langhe, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalySito Moresco is a blend of nebbiolo, cabernet and merlot with a minty, peppery, black cherry jam, almond nose with some tarry tobacco notes. Ripe, round, soft structure with light, dry tannins. Good cherry, cassis, tobacco, tarry violet flavours with some coffe and green bean notes on the finish. Good intensity and acidity but a bit hot.
