De Angelis Anghelos Marche Rosso 2000

Marche, ItalySpicy, black pepper, sausage, gamey nose with black berry and leather aromas. Ripe, round and elegant with somewhat dry tannins. Lots of cassis, coffee, toasty oak, pepper and liquorice flavours with a touch of cherry. A bit tight and lean on the finish with a touch of acidity; give it a year or so or eat with a rich pasta sauce or grilled meat.Tasted: 18 August 2003Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
