When the Empsons began the Shardana project in 1996, they chose the Santadi team and famous friend / consultant Giacomo Tachis as their ideal partners. The initial release is as rich as the land it comes from packed with black cherries and gamy meaty fruit. Smooth and well structured it finishes long with a spicy, leathery black cherry aftertaste.
