Napa Valley, California, United StatesIntense spicy, sweaty saddle and barnyard nose with earthy plum, cassis and vanilla undertones. Elegant and round with dry almost austere tannins. More vanilla, pepper, blackberry and cedar bark flavours with an earthy coffee finish. It's a bigger richer riper version of the '98 and definitely back on track. Soft and more approachable but light for California. A great vintage for Napanook and as close as it will get to Dominus.
