Pascal Jolivet Sancerre 2000
Sancerre, Upper Loire, Loire, FranceA blend of three vineyards this is a young, fresh, clean sauvignon with good acidity set off against a slight residual sugar. The slow fermentation for 6-8 weeks with lees for 4-6 months and no malo results in pure Sauvignon varietal that's neither aggressive or overly grassy. Nice touches of lime, herbs, and green tea. Perfect with a goat's cheese, greens dressed with walnut oil and Asian style dishes.Tasted: 01 May 2002Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $33.95 | 750ml | Specialty |
